Released in 2010, this was the comic that turned Campbell into the world-renowned cover artist he is today, not to mention his love affair with Felicia Hardy. A CGC 9.8 copy of Amazing Spider-Man Presents Black Cat #1 1:100 sold for a record price of $2,050 this week. Scott Campbell is arguably the quintessential modern Black Cat artist. Being a FOC incentive, it was most likely overlooked by retailers who only ordered a few copies of this first issue and didn’t bother going back to add this in at the last minute before order cutoff. It’s particularly difficult to find this variant, which sold its first sale we’ve seen at $108 raw.
It’s hard enough to find the variants for the first comic book series, let alone this last one. Adventure Time Season 11 is a fitting end to the beloved series, providing closure to the characters and their world while leaving room for imagination and speculation.
